Past Life

Ever since I was young, I’ve always had a head full of dreams and
aspirations. My goal in life was to be very successful and not have
to struggle. I had the mentally of a 30 year old, but was only 10
when I started to plan out how I wanted my life to be. Now that
I’m 21 years old, some of my plans have slightly changed. Even
though I want to become a registered nurse and work in the ER or
NICU, I want to live the Hollywood life. I’ve always been the type
of person to be in the spot light. I’m very outgoing and always
have to be the center of attention. It’s so intriguing to me how
famous people live their lives. Thinking about it is nice, but
actually experiencing what they experience is kind of scary as
well. They deal with a lot of nonsense that I don’t see how a
human can endure. Not only do they have to follow a lot of rules,
but they seem like they can’t enjoy their life comfortably. Their
names are always in the tabloids and someone is always talking
about them, but they deal with it. Sometimes I think “Hmm, Steph
can you handle all this if given the opportunity to be in their
shoes”?

Just because I’m at a point in my life where I’m so indecisive,
doesn’t mean I can’t make my goals come true. I think if I really
put my mind to it, I will become famous but if not I will always
settle with my one dream of becoming a nurse. As people live
their life, they don't know what’s going to happen next. I think
people who are famous are very fortunate but they got off the
easy way. Some probably have finished school and received a
degree but the majority of them don’t that’s why I think have a
mindset of having a set career path can never fail because you
have a lot of decisions to decide from.

  1. I had the same dream at that age and making mistakes is how I learned until I joined the Boy Scouts of America and I had a very small but great troop. Because of this troop I recently earned my Eagle award, or one of the highest ranking leadership awards. This experience bought me how to make good decisions and how to make mistakes but clean up my own messes without help from anybody else. Then I decided I wanted to be a IT Specialist for multiple government entities and government contracting entities. Money - YES. Recognition in my field - YES. But I have never been in the spot light but I hope to be.
